As we were preparing for the hustle and bustle of the 2018 Holiday Season an event changed our lives. The Christmas Season is supposed to be filled happiness and cheer but, that was not the case for a fellow customer of ours. To show respect for them, I will not be disclosing the names but, I hope and pray that this story touches you in a little way and that you will help us to do our part to help a fellow Canadian, business partner and friend. 

We received a call with a request for our customer to purchase a box of bath bomb gift sets for the children that were staying with them at McDonald House. McDonald House ... I thought! Why are you staying at McDonald House? It was then that we found out that this customer of ours, precious little boy who was only two years old had been diagnosed with B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and was undergoing chemotherapy. It had been quite the fight for this little man. I was so choked up, I started to cry and could not continue the conversation. My husband and I have four children of our own and could not imagine having to battle a demon like Cancer with any one of them. It was with an open heart that we decided to develop "The Gift" Bath Bomb. All of the profits from The Gift will donated to his family as they have had to relocate for the last chapter of chemotherapy and their fight with Cancer. 

We are hoping that we can raise funds to help do our part to give a little back! Life is about giving and we feel inspired to do this with big hugs and kisses and positive prayers sent to our friends who have to travel a road that they had not expected to travel.

We know that there is power in prayer and that love conquers all so, let's wrap our arms around this little boy and help strengthen him as he braves the battle and fights the fight of his life.
